Adventures in Logo Making

Fun fact, Fish On The Glass is a thing in my life because of a doodle I sent my uncle when I was like ten, and writing letters was The Best Thing Ever. I don’t know why or how a random doodle became such a random force in my life, or why the fish spoke to me more than the guy with the sad face stuffed into a birdcage, but that’s how the fates wove my preteen tapestry, so here we are. (Although, if we’re being honest, SadFaceManStuffedInBirdcage.com would have been a terrible website name, so there is that.)

Now that I’ve relaunched FotG after several years’ dormancy, I decided I need a proper logo. I’ve made several versions over the years based on the original doodle, but as my graphic design skills have also been dormant, it’s been a process akin to home toothpulling.

To put it in perspective, I was looking to design a professional, colorful, fun fishy logo. Here’s what I’ve got so far:
